So, let’s talk about Bucket Lists

Most people have some kind of internal compass, a tool that drives them down a certain path, however the more people I meet the more I realise that this tool we all have really has a production fault, and I for one would like to speak to the manager.

Navigating life is often tricky, stressful, expensive and confusing, so while you’re trying to pay your rent and figure out if you really need to eat this week, it’s not likely you’ll be wondering “So what IS my purpose anyway?”.

I recently had a moment in my life which has reshaped my trajectory forever, and that was when I went to Vegas to see my best friend, Nick. We have been speaking online, FaceTiming etc for the best part of 10 years, and now that we’re adults with a salary, we were finally able to meet up and plan all sorts of stuff, like going to Electric Daisy Carnival, seeing Celine Dion, visiting the Grand Canyon and all other kinds of bucket list criteria.

IMG_7930The whole experience was overwhelming, and now that I’ve had a few months to digest and process what I learned from that trip, I realised that what I would benefit from would be a bucket list! Something to help me remind myself what my goals are, something to work towards, and something to reflect on when I feel like all I do is work, sleep and eat.
